1983

February: Paul Allen resigns as Microsoft's Executive Vice President, but he remains on the Board of Directors.

May: Microsoft introduces a new product. The Microsoft Mouse. It is a hand-held pointing device that can be used with the IBM PC, and any MS-DOS-based PC. The Mouse is used to move a cursor on the screen faster than the conventional method. This particular mouse had two buttons.

August: Jon Shirley replaces James Towne as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer. Shirley was formerly employed by the Tandy Corporation.

September: Microsoft introduces its multi-feature word processing program, Microsoft Word for MS-DOS1.0. "PC World" subscribers received a free demo of Word in the magazine's Software Review. This was the first time that a magazine had featured a floppy-disk bind-in. Now they are quite common.

November: Microsoft unveils Microsoft Windows, a variation of the MS-DOS operating system that lets users have multiple unrelated programs open at once by employing a window system. A user could also transfer data rom one application program to another.

yes. both started companies in the same area, time frame and both achieved succes by employing similar methods. They are very similar people.

Watch the Pirates of Silicon Valley and try and say differently.

and even though that movie is based on the true story, it's pretty damn close to the real thing, just different actors pretty much.

Good, since you have the movie you should know that it is based off of true events and quite accuratley depicts them. While movies are never 100% true (Excluding documentaries and National Geographic specials) those that are based off of fact do usually have a good chunk of truth in them.

As for your "I dont insult your heroes" comment. How many times have you insulted Linux and Linus Torvalds in the past?

PS As as side note I never intended to insult your "hero", and I apologize if I have disallusioned you about Satan err... Gates I mean.

I would like to ask you to find 1 of my posts that insults Linux.

to my knowlage i have never once insulted Linux.

If Bill is Satin then Whoever Uses Linux as a OS is Gay!. End of story its just as far feched and imature as you comment.

hay did they ever get a patch so that you could run NWN on Linux yet?
Just curious and all i mean the games like a year old now they should have one by now right

There you go. Whether or not you choose to argue that you are joking the fact that you stated that Linux is behind the rest of the computing world and also go so far as to insult the NWN linux client.
