My new server is in, I can pick it up on saturday. I do not the the exact specs but here are the bare miniums.
4 Processors
100gigs of RAIDed SCSI Drive's (9.1gigs each)
1gig of Ram
Lan
Video
backup internal powersupply
full sized server case (the mini-fridge type)
SCSI CD-ROM
Bret said that those are the lowest figers most likely some will be higher eg. 150gig's HD or 2 gigs of ram.
This server will be the new home of KalNet Files and most likely the DSCWI as well.
More to follow as it developes!

All Kal Bob needed was a monkey, a drill press, a shaman, 5 vestal virgins, and 5 litres of acetic acid. It was a wondrous ceremony when he birthed his unholy server from hades.

8 out of 12 drives show up in Linux. I think I know why the other 4 don't.
Will now why when I am finished Installing and recompiling the system.

I figured out why the 4 extra drives were not reporting. The solution is a little complicated so I put the 4 extra rives in Giaus. I figure this way it will balence the drive space between them.
Further all major hardware Issues have been found and corrected. I am now Installing ans configuring Software. It is working now as a RAID Fie server. I am still playing with the chunk size.
If anyone knows a good site about the Details of RAID, they would be helpfull
