Actually, building the pyramids seems to be simpler than originally thought. I'm not trying to demean the feat, but with a fair number of people and a bunch of triangles on papyrus you'd be suprised what you can do.

View the night pics. By the light density, you can see where the majority of the people live. Also, note the difference in light clusters between North and South Korea.
This also disproves 2 common "old wives tales." Las Vegas is not anymore distinguishable than any of the other cities. The Great Wall of China is not a landmark one can make out from space with the naked eye.
