While this has been done on a small scale here and in Alberta, Australia seems to be the first to try and do it on a large scale.
So the next time someone tells you "That ain't worth $hit!" you can take solace in knowing that by his comment, he's actually an ignorant dumb @$$ when it comes to the economics of electricity.
