What with @$$hat tactics like this, the RIAA is making it hard for me to justify buying band CD's that I like:

When someone who makes a file search engine (ie. NOT specifically meant for music) and the RIAA takes his life savings to settle out of court, they're not exactly gonna win any of my dollars.

Why dont the RIAA Sue Microsoft for having the "Serch" option in there OS.
Since you can use it if your on a Network to look for MP3's on other computers.
This is getting realy petty.

Why would the RIAA want to sue microsoft? They had a large influence in getting the DMCA passed and will be employing similar tactics with their next operating system release.

This is crap. If some million dollar suits swooped down from their mighty music fortress on Mt. Fuckmore, called me a nazi terrorist pirate and scooped my hard earned life savings of 12,000 bucks, I'd start downloading Bob style and then some. Ghost man im just saying that it to finds MP3s on a network so why sue one and not sue the other.
Hell, Google shold be getting sued any day now, Because its a search engin and you can use it to find MP3's(for those of us that think that im being serious and realy thingk that google is gona get sued then please stop, and think about what im saying, befor trying to belittle me)

does that apply to movies i wonder.... nervously looking around.... not that i would know ANYTHING about copying several hundred (600 & counting to be exact) movies.... and/or sharing them online....
