For Your LED Projects

This lil'thinger helps calculate what resistance you need for your projects:

The best part is that it will recommend the resistor closest to that needed value that's actually made.

Old fashioned way, eh?

All the old fashioned way got me were electrical explosions. Ask Jon for confirmation ;)

Well, I disagree:

Resistors explained (I'd use my Electronics book, but I sold it to a 3rd year EE student back in September):

http://webhome.idirect.com/~jadams/elec ... _codes.htm

Plus, the C+ I got in Electronics first year seems to contradict your statement.

Taking the simple road doesn't prove inadequacy. I'm sure you know how to mod, yet you bought a pre-mod. I know how to plant corn, but I ain't walking the field--I'll use my planter thank you very much. As long as you know the back history, I'll take efficiency any day of the week.

Some of us don't have tax dollars providing us with LED's and have to buy our own :P

Though, your way sounds far way more fun
