A "Wise" Intel Move

Seeing how Intel was just picking up enthusiam again with the enthusiast (what with insanely high FSB being possible with the latest P4's), they go and do this:

Well, it's only more good news for AMD if true and actually applied.

This dissappoints me greatly. Intel was beginning to shape up, as you said earlier Jason. Now this just fucked them up the ass.

I don't think it will affect them that much. True h4x0rs don't like Intel to begin with.

I never have (and no I'm not claiming to be a h4x0r). The only Intel things I like would be their peripherals, like cameras and such (I'm getting one soon actually.)

When I got Echelon in Sept 2001, top intel clock speed was 1.8GHz (correct me if I'm wrong) and AMD was around 1.4GHz. So why did I choose AMD? Because the preformance from AMD was shockingly higher than a chip with a higher clock speed. I don't know all the technical info on this, but AMD was just faster, and they have been for a while, even though it seems like Intel is always leaps and bounds away, AMD is right there beside or just behind.

But I digress. I don't care what moves Intel is making, because I don't buy their processors, prolly won't for a long time to come.
