Well it's not really a Lan unless they are on a local area network

This might be at a Lan party
but by itself it can not be considered a lan

In theory, it very well could be. They boot Linux, share pr0n (there.......they've networked), then reboot into Halo, network together to play (Xbox does use ethernet to join together last I checked......and, again, they've had to network to play. The only way I can see you saying they haven't is the fact that there's only 2 X-boxes--you can argue they used the equivalent of a null modem), and then play each other.
So, as of now, 1/2 @$$ LAN
