I'm sure you all know about SCO buying out Unix and then suing all Linux distros for alledgedly having copyrighted Unix code. This is an interesting twist:

SCO used to distribute Caldera under the GPL. Since they've all ready distributed it, all Linux distros could argue that they got the code from Caldera and not from Unix. I'm predicting a loss here for SCO (thankfully).

if SCO did win, what could they do, people would still continue to develop and share Linux distros underground right??

He was the guy who put one of the original guides up on how to get a free T1 line in your neighbourhood and provide DSL to your entire neighbourhood for free. One of PBS' best assets, IMHO.

SCO hires big gun lawyer David Boies (defended, ironically, IBM in the 80's, represented the US government vs. Microsoft, fought for Al Gore over the presidential election, and defended Napster); IBM counters by hiring Boies former employer and asking case to go federal rather than state:

Oh, and SCO says Linus is incompetent when it comes to discerning code as it relates to Linux (in a manner of speaking). I'm sure that's going to go over well with the Linux crowd

The Linux community backlash begins:

Let the chaos reign! While I dont think its exactly right for the community to boycott SCO in this fashion, I dont see any other option.
