Don't cut the spring.


O.K. here is the skinny on valve springs:

ICD produced three spring lengths and three LPR stem lengths. The longer springs and longer piston lengths were the most efficient. A measurement of my longest valve spring is as follows:

Lenght: 1.08" long uncompressed
Outer Diameter: 0.351"
Inner diameter: 0.305"
Wire diameter: 0.046"
Spring is stainless steel compression spring with closed and ground ends.

What you are looking for is a spring that will give you about 6lbs of pressure without load.

The best place to order a spring(s) from is http://www.centuryspring.com. These guys have loads of springs.

Try looking at spring models: 71075S, 71076S (vary in length somewhat)

Sure if i can find a spring that would work.


Ok, i just measured the stock springs in both my markers. They are the same


Lenght = 1.04"
Inner diameter = 0.265"
Outer diameter = 0.360
wire dia. = 0.045"
LPR spring seat (SCMIII) dia = 0.258"
LPR spring seal (stock) dia. = 0.261"
Stealth Valve spring seat dia. = 0.262"
Ebay valve spring seat dia. = 0.271"
Stock valve spring seat dia. = 0.261"

Ok should be more than enough info needed to try to track down some springs. Just need to figure out how strong of a spring to get

also the efficiency is due to the LPR valve spring....some were too deep and it didnt shut the valve off quick enough...you want more than just the lip of the cup showing

i use Cocker sear springs

there usually lighter than valve springs...but dont fit vapor valves.....awwww booo i use a zeni and an empire so

Maddmanproducts.com....Autococker kit....you only use one spring, so u make the decision.

You tune it as normally, but you might need to turn both down since it will change the PSI at which your marker operates.

3 springs to choose, green is the lightest, red the hardest.

Green in the lightest, blue the medium, and red the hard. I use green. There is no need to cut the spring down to size.
