How to tune a Marq:

Marqs dont work like that, you have to get a pressure tester or sweetspot it. This is not planet eclipse where LPR screwed in all the way shoots the same as if it were all the way out.

there are no amount of turns that you can do as 1/20th of a turn will change from 60 to 70 psi and that makes a huge difference.

if you dont have a chronograph, get one or go to the field.

Lurkermethod of sweetspotting regs.

1: Back out both regs or Zero out both the LPR andHPR to 0psi
2: Raise HPR slightly only to set LPR for cycling
3: Raise LPR to fully cycling ~45psi or so
4: Raise HPR until velocity begins to stop risingas you increase pressure
5: Raise LPR to desired velocity
6: Lower HPR a bit, then raise if necessary...you're trying to find the best HPR setting at the LPR setting you have. Thismay put your velocity over 300/285
7: Lower LPR slightly to field velocity

Make sure the 2 halves of the engine are screwed together all the way and that your dwell is at 6ms then sweetspot your regs.

Both the Pro Engine and the SC Engine have that ping noise. Like gamer said set your Dwell to 6 and find the sweet spot on your regs.

In my Closer it was
Dwell 6
Bolt Delay 14
LPR 65-70psi
HPR to Chrono

Stock vs. Proficiency vs Supercharged engines:

alright so you can supercharge any gen 1 marq without a PE kit on. is there any good sights to buy supercharger kits pb warehouse has a kit but they say you need a PE engine for it to work ?

Theres two ways you can supercharge your Closer.

If you have and you must in-order to do this. You need the PE engine and then you have to get the SC kit else which is like $60.

Or you can straight up buy the a PE engine with the SC kit already in it. Which PBW has and sells.

Lurker spring:

Did you re chrono? Louder and kicked harder due to higher velocity is my guess. You want to raise dwell and lower lpr as far as you can while getting velocity and no fsdo

I did. I was unsure about what all to adjust. I'll mess with that tonight and see what I get. Any adjustments need to be made to BIP, Debounce, Filter, Bolt Delay, anything like that?

Those shouldn't need to change.
