Pistol Duels

I challenge you all to a duel!

I recently acquired 3 vintage Splatmaster pistols. One will be my sidearm, the other two I am going to put into a Dueling kit.

I can see a couple of different duel styles:

18th Century Style: Single-Shot
1. Turn back-to-back and walk off 10 paces on the instruction of the Marshall.
2. On the 10th pace, turn and fire. The markers will be pre-loaded with only one shot.
3. The winner is the person who did not get hit.

Because of the nature of medicine in the 18th century, any hit to the body could be fatal.
I see a lot of draw games here, but it could still be fun.

19th Century Style: Wild West
(This mode may rely on having hip holsters for the markers,
but we could also hold them at our sides.)

1. Start at a pre-determined distance from your opponent with the markers un-cocked.
2. You stare down your opponent, and either of you may choose to draw first.
3. Once someone has drawn, you both fire at each other until all 10 shots are gone,
or someone is hit with a torso or head-shot.

I personally prefer the Wild West style, and would love to see a round robin bracket tournament.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. We could run duels between games,
or the whole bracket before a regular game if everyone is early.

I only ask that you provide your own paint & a 12g CO2, or I can sell them for $1 each.

I like the idea of between game duels.
