Paintball Package Deal
Posted: Tue Oct 25, 2011 4:40 pm
I'll advertise this here first before I spread it across the 'net.
Package will include the following, but you've got some choices:
-a Spyder-style marker
-mask
-2 electric loaders
-gravity hoppper
-pod
-100+ paintballs
Basically, it's everything you need to get going. I can include a 9oz CO2 tank for a bit extra, but they're all definitely out of hydro so you may want to grab a fresh one.
Here's an example pic of a package you could choose (note that you can switch out things as explained below):
On to the package specifics:
1. Marker (two options to choose from)
A. JT T-Storm Tactical Marker
-milsim for those looking for that authentic woodsball vibe
-tactical foregrip deliver comfort and control while providing support for quick and accurate movement of your marker
-double finger blade trigger for increased firing rate
-offset feed port for better visibility and increased aiming accuracy
-two step field strip technology top cocking pull pin allows you to remain in the game and internal quick-release pin for maintenance after the game
-removable 9.25" ported aluminum barrel for increased accuracy and reduced noise
-I redid the O-rings, cleaned, and lubed the marker up so she's good to go
-just holding it in my hand, it's the lighter of the two (ie. composite construction)
-features changeable detents
-top cocking with sight rails
-composite bolt that separates easily from the rammer to make cleaning easier
-my brother used this one the last we all played

B. PMI Piranha
-all black, metal construction makes for a marker that will survive even the fiercest battle
-volumizer included to provided a more consistent shot that makes all the difference for those quick "snap shots"
-double finger blade trigger for increased firing rate
-AGD Automag style feedneck allows for Warp Drive feeder
-feedneck also includes secondary twist safety. This would allow you to do the hair trigger sear mod and not worry about misplaced fires so that you have an extremely walkable marker that isn't a safety concern. Note that hair trigger mod has not been done, but advice on how to do so can be freely given
-raised rails allows standard attachments and rear pull cocking knob stays out of sight easily
-bolt and rammer are all metal for added durability
-two step field strip technology top cocking pull pin allows you to remain in the game and internal quick-release pin for maintenance after the game
-removable 9.25" ported aluminum barrel for increased accuracy and reduced noise
-I redid the O-rings, cleaned, and lubed the marker up so she's good to go
-features changeable detents
-standard ASA fitting on front makes regulator installation easy
-standard straight line ASA screw holes make for easy mounting of modifications

2. Pod with Paintballs
-smoke so you can easily see if it's full or not
-GoG branded
-snap top
-holds at least 100 rounds (likely 135, but I don't have time to confirm)
-paintballs are fresh and not dimpled
Pod
3. Masks (two options)
A. JT Elite nVader (I believe)
-JT quality
-soft, rubber pads are great for bounces
-soft foam ensures you won't bang up your face
-visor to block the sun
-appears to have a thermal lens
-great band for the back of the head
Pics
B. Gen X Global GXG XVSN Mask
-easy to remove lens makes cleaning a breeze
-foam around eyes makes the mask stay put
-great band for the back of the head
-visor to block the sun

4. Gravity Hoppers (three choices)
A. Brass Eagle
-blue smoke so you can easily see how many rounds are left
-snap top
B. VL200
-"the" classic hopper
-snap top
C. Tippman
-seems like the largest capacity
-rubber top
Pics:
5. Electric Hoppers
VL Quantums
-hybrid gravity / electric hopper. One of people's largest beefs with electric hoppers is "What happens when the battery goes dead?" With the VL Quantum, it will function as a standard gravity hopper.
-it also runs off one 9v battery so it's not an electricity hog
-easy to access on/off switch on the side lets you enable/disable the motor if you're really paranoid.
-features agitation to eliminate "shake or bake" and it can unload up to 8 bps stock
-mods, such as the "spoon" impeller, can increase its unloading rate if you wish.
-clear one makes it so that you can easily see your paint level instead of during a firefight when you hear that dreaded *click, click, click*

Feel free to look at my other thread for more Quantum pics.
SUMMARY
You get to pick and choose. Have the marker, mask, and hopper you like. Package deal is $40 delivered if you're reasonably within the London or Woodstock area. Kitchener can be worked out.
Cheers.
