Here's some interesting news:

http://www.x86-secret.com/
http://www.3dchips-fr.com/News/news.php?id=200305084

The lowdown:

-256bit memory interface rather than 128 ala NV30
-frequencies for core and mem are 450/425, 425/425, or 425/400 (Ultra & non-Ultra)
-equipped with DDR-I instead of DDR-II ala NV30
-comes in 256 and 128 mb versions
-still comes with FX flow (whether it's quiet or not, we don't know yet)
-has "UltraShadow" (a play on the new schtick coming out for Doom III I imagine).
-claims of performance 25-80% greater than that of the 9800 Pro.
-it's still farking expensive ($299-$499 US).

Holy schtick. Tom's, Anand's, and [H]ardOCP are all getting hammered like $2 harlots when it comes to internet traffic. Anybody getting through easily?

Atleast the cooler looks better on this one.

Also, I can't load any of those sites either. Maybe they are DOS attacking each other in an act of final vengeance.

Just about done Tom's and I've read all of them but the [H]ardOCP and Anand one. As of now, the shiznat looks good, but still has that fishy smell (fsaa-wise).

They say it's going to be available in June. Time will tell.

$499 for 256 mb 5900 Ultra
$399 for 128 mb 5900 (Ultra?.......unknown at this time officially......though core/mem should be the same)
$299 for 128 mb 5900 non-Ultra
