I'm not sure what the threads on the barrel are. There is not much information about this on the web. They look like they may be spyder, so the same short barrel that Tyler used could do the trick. I plan on putting a 12g CO2 quick change ASA adapter vertically into the air intake and it will double as a fore grip. The other alternative is the use the remote line, but I'm not sure if it will be awkward or not. I will most likely use one of those mini 50 ball hoppers like Jon has on his pistol.

I'm off to take it apart to clean and oil it.

Since its a stacked tube copy its most likely Spyder threads, and a lot of Spyder parts will just pop right in there for the internals. The basic Spyder design has been copied by almost everyone and hasn't changed much. You're welcome to try my 3.5 inch Spyder barrel in it next time we meet up just to be sure.

Quick question. I see that this gun uses a vertical ASA adapter. Does it have the detent to directly hook up a CO2 tank? If so I desperately want that little part and if you're not using it can I buy it off you?

Damn I was hoping you wouldn't need that part for the RAP4 cartridge adapter but it looks like you will. I'm having a hell of a time finding an adapter that has the detent for a tank. Lots of ones that dont though for things like gas through grips, etc. If that little adapter fits my gun maybe I could get a vertical ASA that doesn't have the detent and we could trade?

Does the adapter screw off the gun? Hard to tell from the photos. Could you take a photo with something else nearby for scale? Trying to get a feel for how small this thing is.

Also there is a chance it might be a piece of shit. Its made by Zap paintball, the defunct Stratford company that made the infamous "drunk missile" Morrison paintballs.

I probably will not need the pin if I run the remote line, and I was going to check if the quick change adapter did or not. If you say it does then I believe you. The ASA does not come off of the gun unfortunately, and I don't know if you could even take the pin out. I will be taking more photos tonight of the dis-assembly since none exist on the internet as of yet.

Yes, but they probably sat for a long time in a warehouse or that guy's house before you actually bought them.

Remove these 4 pins. The 2 bottom remove the grip frame and ASA, and the back 3 hold in the bolt assembly.
The knob under the bolt cocker is the velocity adjustment.


Here is the expanded view showing all of the internals. The bolt is missing the o-ring, but that will be an easy fix.

It slides out. Then take out this screw, and out come these other pieces.


The silver piece comes out of the back. It needs to be cleaned...
You might be in luck on the ASA if the price is right Tyler...

So I learned 2 things recently:

The ASA will NOT fit on Tyler's gun

The Model 83 does NOT have spyder threads. It has Model 83 threads . There are no after market barrels available. PROVE ME WRONG. Please!

I will most likely end up cutting the barrel so that only a cm or 2 sticks out of the front for that SMG look. If I can rig a way to carry this as a side-arm, that would be great.

It looks like a stacked tube blowback. My guess is that it's Spyder threaded. If there's a shroud, ala eight_ender's gun, just find one that will fully slide in.


My PMI Piranha internal assembly for comparison. Almost all those Spdyer clones kept the threading the same back then. Azodin is one of the recent one's to use Autococker threads.
