Lasers. How powerful is too powerful?

I have been looking at getting a laser for my gun, and it seems like the dangerously powerful ones look exactly like the safe ones so I think we should add an official rule to limit the power output, and require that they be checked before use. I like being able to see things and don't want to lose that ability.

The UK limits sales to <1mW, and the US <5mW

in the US and Canada, class 3A is the maximum permitted


Which is <5mw, so we probably should just stick to the regulations that are already in place for Canada.

I could easily buy a 20mW one from Deal Extreme and change the label. No one would know until I blinded a couple of people...
