Home Made BBQ Sauce

Hey folks,

I'm trying something new this year with my garden, I'm going to grow all the ingredients and then make my own BBQ sauce.

Since I didn't start my onions early enough, I'll likely be using (the much milder) Leeks and Shallots... but have no fear, I've got enough hot peppers to give a higher power the ring of fire...

Here is a picture of one of my raised beds which I built last year...

Here is a closeup on the Leeks...

And my main herb will be basil, which is coming along nicely...

My goal is to use as many ingredients that I have grown myself, while only buying the stuff I couldn't reasonably produce myself (salt, honey, vinegar, etc...)

There will be two varieties... a sweet honey sauce and one which I'm going to call "Its pretty fuckin' hot" (name comes from a recent conversation where I tried to explain Ghost Peppers and where they fit in on the Scoville Unit Scale...)

So come on out for ribs at my place in August :)

I'll always have fond memories of Pimpin Matt tea-bagging that English guy in London during Ribfest.

Tasty, tasty ribs.

On a side note, don't bet Pimpin Matt a drink at a cocktail lounge to show his cock..............because he will.
