What with the RIAA being, well, @$$holes we need to protect ourselves. This has been out for a while and won't give you complete security (only a NAT enabled router will do that), but it's a bit of "put-mind-at-ease" security. It basically blocks the RIAA from your IP. It's more complicated than that, but that's really all you need to know.

Most likely, most commercial routers are NAT compilent.

ya i have looked into this and some of the music companys are starting to build "worms" or "Trogins" to get into your comp and Delete as many MP3 they can find before they are caught.
hmm good thing i got alot of software that stops worms and troges from getting into my system.

I have the Linksys BEFSR41
although wouldn't they need to get through the permissions set on the server anyway?????
sure get through the router but then have to hack a username and password
