Are we really that scientists really that bord that they need to study Ozzy Osbourns gene's? Yes he survived drug and alchohal abuse congradulations you managed to not kill youself, lets make you into a science project! How about we spend the tax payers dollar on something more productive.

Actually, studying the gene code of someone who has proven to have a high tolerance to substances like drugs and alcohol can give scientists a valuable wealth of information. Understanding how someone can survive all that can allow scientists to pinpoint specific genes that may have contributed to it and allow (much later on of course) for gene therapy which could strengthen the immune system or provide a greater resistance to cancer or any number of untold benefits.
