Kalnet IRC Channel

so why don't we have a IRC channel...... I miss IRC days. I don't even have a IRC client anymore 
I guess with Facebook, Twitter, and all other social networking tools if you have a question it would be faster to text someone or post on their facebook.
But a IRC is a bit more secure and private with us running it and not a 3rd party.
