Yeah, so people didn't hear about the last LAN right away, and therefore didn't have time to call in sick/book off work. So here it is - LAN at Mike and Andrew's place. Weekend of Oct 28th. Come. Play Games. Get Pwned. Fiancees/Girlfriends/significant others/ friends/ FBs / etc welcome as long as they play games and/or don't get in the way

.
Most likely playing COD2, some TD, and possibly more FEAR. And a game of classic StarCraft. Jon will win.

Also possible, Far Cry. Before the booing starts, they've released a new patch that, among other things, lowers fall damage, fixes network lag, and revamps the assault maps.

I just bought the DVD of Painkiller ($20 for the game and expansion pack) so that may also be a possibility.

Painkiller is a first-person shooter PC game released on April 12, 2004. It was published by DreamCatcher Interactive and developed by a Polish game studio People Can Fly. It attempts to replicate the 'old-school FPS' gameplay of Doom and Serious Sam. Also, many consider it to be a spiritual sequel to the original Quake.
Well, by my standards, it's pretty freakin' awesome

I played the demo
It was fun as hell
You could shoot a stake through people and pin them to the wall...
Let me repeat that for you
You could pin people to the wall with a STAKE GUN!
Its great fun.

I'm looking to show up Saturday and Sunday after church.
I actually may bring a computer *gasp*. Of course, it'll be in pieces for that fresh LAN smell

That's not the Jason I know! <makes sign of cross> Back, foul demon!
Actually, you should only have to bring 1/2 a computer. You have the rest of it here already

Yeah, I figure I'd only really need to BIOS flash that ASRock board, bring a hard drive, slam it together, and I'm good to go.
Go spare parts closet!
