It depends greatly on your personality. I have talked to a few sys admins. They told me that you have to have a real easing going attitude or you burn out real fast.
Also it depends if you are any good at it. If you wait for something to break and then have to rush to fix it... it can get stressful. If you plan for problems ahead of time, things are much easier.

I agree 100%. I just started at Staples in the tech centre, I'll be taking over for the tech guy there in a few weeks, and already I've worked two 10 hour days like they were nothing. You just have to be very easy going & love what you do.
