Crossfire

The last section where it talks about keeping your old graphics card for physics calculations while you upgrade your graphics card idea really appeals to me.

Honestly, I believe this is the best idea to come out of SLI/Crossfire yet:

It allows you to Crossfire your video card with your onboard video card. While that doesn't seem too exciting, the part near the end is. When you don't need your addin card (ie. you'd need it for movies, games, etc.) and you're just "using" your computer (ie. surfing the web), the addin card powers down and you just use the onboard. I think that's an excellent idea in terms of power usage and longevity of parts.
