Cell Processor Architecture

This is a pretty cool chip:

Dual core, 2Ghz, 5 to 13 watts, and mostly everything on the chip. They say it should be cheap, but with those features I dunno.

True. I'll just wait until it's no longer 'new' technology. You always pay a premium for new.

i can see the benefits of this but as with most things i hardly see this as being useful to the end user right away.

True, but neither are 64bit or dual core for the majority of people. Cool stuff is often useless.........that's why it's cool. It's cr@p that could be useful that you spend money on just because you can.
All of us here are pretty bad for that.
