2 Questions:
What version is your board?
Do you have any mods installed?

It is very important that you keep the phpBB2 software up to date lol, it is very easy if you have no mods installed.

I can do a reverse SQL dump until I get a good copy of your board. It will have to wait until I get back from class though.

Didn't anyone ever tell you about secure passwords Bo

I doubt that it is a password problem. There were many exploits in phpBB2 in the pre 2.0.12 patch. It is highly recommended that you update the board when the patches come out.

is it as simple as downloading and then uploading to the server?

speaking of which...

last time i tried to upload something it came up with a message about someone may be watching or the settings had been changed

but the time before that it said it would not connect at all, but that was when you were having the issues

do I still update mysite the same way i was before? by connecting to mattnbo.kalshadowtech.com?

I reset you DB. You should be able to upload the new files from phpbb.org over the old ones.... then run the update script that comes with it.

DO NOT OVERWRITE config.php

Let me know if you run into trouble
