I have no idea what Ghost Rider is, but i read it quickly and my brain processed it as Ghost Writer. I was very excited. Now I'm disappointed.
Carry on.

Ghost Rider is sooooo much better than Ghost Writer...
Imagine a Biker with a Falming skull for a head that fights crime and injustice with his Bike with flaming wheels of doom.
Yah, thats awesome!

I've got a comic with Ghost Rider in it. Doesn't he only have a flaming skull when he's on the motorcycle?

In order to save his dying father, young stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze sells his soul to Mephistopheles and sadly parts from the pure-hearted Roxanne Simpson, the love of his life. Years later, Johnny's path crosses again with Roxanne, now a gogetting reporter, and also with Mephistopheles, who offers to release Johnny's soul if Johnny becomes the fabled, fiery Ghost Rider, a supernatural agent of vengeance and justice. Mephistopheles charges Johnny with defeating the despicable Blackheart, Mephistopheles's nemesis and son, who plans to displace his father and create a new hell even more terrible than the old one.

Looks good to me.
"Fake?"
The whole part where a guy sells his soul and spontaneously bursts into flames in the presence of evil is "real" on paper, but not film? Yeah, it's fake, but it's all about setting up your boundaries of reality.
I'd have a bigger problem with the guy being Cage. I guess when he was denied Superman, this was the next best thing

Actually, if any actor is best suited for Johnny Blaze, Nicholas Cage is one of the best people for it. The man loves Comic Books and has the attitude down pat. After reading a few recent Ghost Rider Comics, I think Cage will do an excellent job. Johnny Blaze is a brooding character, Cage can do that to a T.
