Well, This Was Unexpected--Building Computer For Audio

Apparently, my computer building fame has spread across Toronto. I now have a job opportunity that I didn't ever expect. Through a few of my contacts, I have been offered the chance to build an audio workstation for a client. Not all that big of a deal, really.
Except that he's recording and editing the new albums for
Usher and
Justin Timberlake.
was my first reaction. So now I have to learn everything that I can about audio workstations, have it built by mid April at the latest, finish my thesis, and study for finals. Usually, I'd just say that I'm too busy.
However, he says that there is no budget limit.
Sooooooooo...................life's gonna be *real* busy the next month and a half.

Yeah, I might be heading down to the Detroit region next weekend for parts as they're not available in Canada. Anybody want a bottle or pack of duty free?

Well, yes and no.
I charge $100 for placing it together.
However, some of the parts are priced "slightly" higher than they usually are.

I have a proposition for everyone on the board. Here is my parts list. If you happen to have one of the items, I may be interested in purchasing it off of you:
Asus P4C800-E or P4P800-E Deluxe
Intel P4 2.8C/E or 3.0C/E or 3.2C/E
Zalman 7000AlCu/Cu or Thermaltake XP-90/c or Thermaltake XP-120
Matrox P650
Western Digital 74gig Raptor
2 X Maxtor Diamondmax 10 250gig 16mb cache (prefer SATA)
Unlikely anyone has these, but I figured I'd give it a shot. All other parts have been spoken for (unless you have a 17" LCD--then give me the name so that I can research it).

Indeed, the current price on DDR is now a bit lower than the cost of making it.
Sounds like you'll still be getting a pretty good price.
