KalNet Files, Bit Torrent and Bandwidth

Some of you might have noticed that the KalNet Files section is closed off. This is because I have "slightly" exceeded my bandwidth restrictions.

See bellow for Details:
Monthly combined bandwidth limit3: 15360 MB
Current month's bandwidth used to date (MB)
Upstream1: 54777
Downstream2: 21561
Current month's percentage of combined limit used: 496 %
Current month's estimated bandwidth usage4 (based on the current daily average usage): 143130 MB
Estimated amount current limit will be exceeded by5 (based on the current daily average usage): 127770 MB
Estimated date to exceed your monthly bandwidth limit: 03/07/05
Anyway, it is more from using Bit-Torrent, but I want to avoid getting cutoff. Feel free to continue to use the message board and the albums systems, it is piddly in comparison.
I will be bringing the KalNet files site back on-line April 1st, but until then no movie site for me!

Ah, this blows. I was gonna upload my thesis for my prof.
We should look into building a spare file server at your Norwich house. The internet's on their anyways. It could be the backup or help alleviate the bandwidth limitations. I know I have all the spare parts except a harddrive. If ya give me enough time, I could probably find that, too.

don't need to build it, I have one sitting there already. Take you pick Tiberius of Guais. Each one has about 65gig's of space on them. I was going to set them up on march break, but I could not get them downstairs by my self.
Tiberius needs a little bit of an overhaul... well they both could use an update

but they would work. Next time we are both home we can set them up if you like.

I'm definitely up for that. When's the next time you're coming home? I'll probably be there next weekend.
I'm just gonna hand in the thesis presentation on DVD. No worries.

we would host things if you want, we have a bit of bandwidth left

ya i could host something as well to help spread the bandwidth around... Krissi barely uses her bandwidth at all so that little computer can hold maybe 10 gigs or so

I was just gonna submit him a link to download it from, that was all. I just handed him the DVD today instead. The only reason I'd upload it anymore would be if you guys wanted to see it............which I doubt you would.
"Subsurface Utility Engineering and Computer Modeling"
It involves engineering and using the Unreal Tournament 2004 engine, but that's probably all that you guys would like. Well, that and the "Star Wars" themed easter egg at the end.
Suffice to say, I think our presentation kicked @$$.

I'll zip it up and upload it...........to wherever someone tells me. You'll need a Windows machine (most likely) with Powerpoint, though. I'll provide the running instructions in the zip.
I honestly think you'll be bored by it. You've been warned.

Alright. It's 5 minutes of your life you'll never get back.
So who can host about a 100 mb file for me?
