A British Star Trek fan spent $11,300 to convert his one-bedroom apartment into a replica of the interior of the U.S.S. Enterprise from The Next Generation series, the Reuters news service reported. Tony Alleyne, 48, of Hinckley in central England modified his living quarters to include a command console and windows that look like portholes, the wire service reported.

Alleyne based the remodel on magazines and information from NASA.
