I have seen you all using a program to mount ISO as a drive in Windows. What is the best one called?

What do you need it for?

Daemon tools is decent
Alchol 120% is also good
Clone CD also comes with a ISO mounter

Daemon tools is good, but I prefer Alcohol 120%. I find its just more flexible and easier to use.

It comes down to personal opinion. All the ones I listed work and work well. I've never had an image not mount properly on any of them, I just prefer Alcohol 120%.

can you be more specific as to why you think its better? i'm just curious maybe if you are killing time you could do a side by side comparison of features

Daemon tools is good if you just want a simple prog to help you play a game. Alcohol also does that, but it comes with burning functionality equal to (if not better) than CloneCD. If you want to make Xbox backups, you'll most likely have to use Alcohol.

That, and I find it mounts images faster, has more burning options and is simply a far more intuitive program.

I dont like Daemon tools running in the tray. When I want to mount an ISO I fire up Alcohol, mount, kill it and go on my way. No ram wasted, and I find it runs faster than Daemon tools.

Sidenote: Alcohol now has annoying malware that is required for its use. Unless you absolutely need, it's suggested to find an alternative.
