The list is at the bottom:

What I find interesting is how downloading T.V. shows is considered pirating. Since when did downloading shows available free to the public become illegal? Fscking retarded.

Just set one's cap card to record then. Edit out the commercials and you'll get the same result. if not better.

MPAA wrote:MPAA officials said "several" of the Oscar nominated films had illegal copies on the Internet that could be downloaded, but they named only comedy "Sideways," which is nominated for best picture.

Yah, I really think the studio lost money on Sideways b/c of online piracy.

Title
Sideways

Weekend Gross
$4,473,622

Total Gross
$58,695,137

And this is on a low budget movie that probably only cost a few million to make, I think they made out pretty well.

The MPAA is a large conglomerate of Nazis...

I wouldnt be surprised if they found a way to clone Hitler for advice...

Use the Real Media Alternative codec with Media Player Classic.

That's a good idea...do you have a link to the codec?

Does it not work with mp 10?

Go to the website I listed there. Choose the K-Lite Mega Codec off the left. Install the playback option unless you want to do some encoding. You can also install BS Player if you want (actually, unless you de-select it, it will be installed).

I just used that codec pack to play the Quicktime movie of the Doom 3 expansion.

How have you guys lived without Media Player Classic? I only use Windows Media Player for wmv's--it's such a crock of cr@p.

I don't really want to install a whole codec pack just so I can play some crappy real media files, particularly since I am happy with my current versions of both Ogg and FFDShow and don't want to screw them up.
I also don't really like MPC, I use VLC when I have problems, but WMP is usually fine.

Do you know if there is a place I can just download the RM codec?

You sure b!tch and expect a lot just to watch some "crappy real media files." My solution is available. Other than that--Google is your new best friend.

*though, if you look on that site, I think the Real codec is solely available*

You can download the RealAlternative Codec just by itself. Just google it and its easy to find.
