Thank to ATI's Excellent Warranty service, I sent in my defunct Radeon 9500 Pro and within 5 days received a Brand spanking new Radeon 9800 Pro.

Not too shabby considering it was free.

Defunct 9500 pro? What did ya do it?

R350 or R360 core? If you've got the 2.8 Hynix chips (I think.........not sure), it should overclock like a mofo.

The power loss that killed my CPU also did something screwy with the Video Card.

It started giving me a plethora of random screw ups.

Im not sure which core it is, but I'll look into it. I also didnt bother to check the RAM chips, I just wanted my Radeon back. Next time I pop the case, I'll take a peek.

That's really awsome...I wonder if they would give me a new 9800 pro if I sent in my 9200.

I'd bank on you getting a 9200. The 9500 Pro was discontinued; the 9200 is still active.
