The MPAA is a bunch of over zealous assholes that needs to be shut down.

I would like to know on what legal basis they were able to take control over a third party site. I can see them forcing them to remove content, but to take over the webspace with there own banners?

That would be like the court ordering you to turn over your car because a bumpersticker offended someone.

If:

Congress = pass
Senate = pass
President = nogo

then the bill would've been shot down. Heck, I can't figure out why he did sign the thing as the Republican majority in Congress probably p!ssed him off to no end.
