I really wish they would stop screwing around with all the single player crap for Quake 4...I mean, we just had two great single player games - Doom 3, and HL 2...enough with the single player.

Just give us a good solid multiplay and everyone will be happy.

Yeah, but Quake 2 was about having both.

Why not have both a good single player and a good multiplayer?

I'm just worried that they can pull it off, since both of the big single player games this year have had sub par multi-play (although I havn't played HL2 DM yet, I'm only basing this on the crapfactory that is CS).

I think they won't spend enough development time on the multi-player and it will end-up fealing tacked on like Doom 3.

After HL2 I could use a decent Single Player campaign... But thats just me.

I dont see why they cant pull off both excellent Single and Multiplayer games. Its Raven Software for Pete's sake. Have faith and be patient.

What with Raven's recent games, I have confidence that they can pull off both quite well. Neither aspect may be outstanding and win numerous game of the year awards, but combined together the two aspects will create a good game.

But we'll just have to wait and see.
