So I found a trailer for it, and I must say, it looks very Promising. I like Christian Bale, and I think he'll do an excellent job, and from what I've seen in the trailer (not the teaser) it looks like they've done a good job with things. Also, the addition of Liam Neeson to any cast is always a bonus.
Check it out and see for yourself. Lemme know what you guys think of it.

If you are new to the real batman, I suggest reading the "Legends of the Dark Knight" graphic novels. They will give you an idea of what batman is supposed to be in this movie. Deeply distrubed from remorse and regret about his parents, arguabally driven to the brink of madness, he is part antisocial, part dissasociative disorder, part bipolar, etc. It gives a very fresh (back in the 80s) look and feel to batman, serving to break the ties between batman from the old tv series type and from today.
Taken from TFP. Pretty accurate description as far as I can tell. For those of you are wondering how it fits in with the Mythos.

not really anything new.. you see most of what the movies about in the trailer.. and I know the bad guy is Ra's Al Ghul
Trivialidades: Viggo Mortensen turned down the role of Ra's Al Ghul, the main villain in the film. 'Daniel Day Lewis' was also approached for the role.

I read somewhere that Scarecrow was going to be in there too... I may be wrong.
I'll look into it.

Well, I only heard it as a rumour, so well see. You're probably right though, which is a shame, cause he would be a cool villian to do. Especially if they did it properly, which they could now.

I have no idea. Did you check IMDB?
Or perhaps you just missed it, it does list his normal name first, so you might have just overlooked it.
Either way, here's hoping its done properly

yah I agree he is one of those bad guys if done wrong could be really stupid if done right could kick so much ass
...The thing for me is though.. I was under the impression that Ra's Al Ghul is the main bad guy and this is the first I have seen anything about Scarecrow... guess we get to see the makings of Scarecrow that should be fun

well, it is possible that Scarecrow is the secondary villain and doesnt pose as much of a threat as Ras al Ghul.
We'll see how they go with this.
