Whats the best Dual layer one on the market right now? In your opinion anyways?

In our price range?
-Liteon (same quality as LG, but you get the Nero software even if it's OEM.......yeah, you can just download it, but it's actually nice to own a legit piece of software now and then--even if it is only for the key)
-LG
The main thing is to NOT buy Sony as I'm sure Homey B can attest to. I, personally, have the Liteon one it's done everything I've asked of it. My cousins have the LG one and it also seems to work fine. Plextor's and Panasonic's are also known to be pretty good, but I don't have any experience with them so I wouldn't feel comfortable saying "yay" or "nay" on 'em. Just make sure you get a Dual Layer one as it's worth the extra $10 or so.

Nec and LG seem to be recommended while MSI and Sony are not. Decent read on the subject.

Buy any burner you want. An external kit is only about $50 which is the same difference between internal and external. Then you can keep the kit for your next burner.
