SLI Is Back!!

One of the only good technologies to come out of 3dfx has come back:

Bloody cool. Though, I hope they allow it to occur with some mid-ranged cards. Buying 2 6800 Ultras seems *slightly* excessive in price.
2 regular 6800's--that I could maybe live with. Here's hoping Ati responds with a MAXX version (see my old post on their military simulater--they can easily do this. Heck, the 3XX series can link up to 256 GPU's at once. 2 outta be super easy for them).

Apparently it will work with 6800's. W00t!

6800 GT's appear to be the lowest common denominator. Yet again, misinformation spread by Tom for EDIT2.
