KWB - Staff Needed
Posted: Tue Jun 22, 2004 12:30 am
We are looking for some dedicated people to help us out with the Lan set-up and tear down, as well as organization of the tournaments. Following will be a list of the positions we need to fill, and the compensation available. Everyone who helps out is invited to the "pre-lan party" here at our place in Waterloo (214 Westcourt) on the friday night before. There will be free pizza and bawls (that's bawls, not beer
) for all who attend, and anyone who wants to can sleep here (although you may have to take the floor).
You can sign up for more than one job if you feel that you can handle it, people with experience and training will be favoured over those without in the case of several people wanting the same position.
Setup and Teardown
Description - Help with the set-up of the 1000's of meters of Cat5e that need to be laid at the venue, and well as connecting the switches and AV equipment. Must be present for both the set-up and the tear-down, possibly some duties including registration (ie. watching the door, etc...)
Compensation: Free Tournament Masters T-Shirt, and free entrance to the lan ($40 value). You can play in all the tournaments and are elegible for all the door prizes.
