Intersting article - the fix seems to be a simple registry edit.
The MS article they posted at the end has kind of a summary for those who don't want to read the article and don't mind a more technical document.

makes sense to me, stupid people need things explained in full detail... like where the start button is, and how to double click

Actually, word for word, they're about the same length. The M$ doc may be more technical, but a summary it is not. If you're not into the article, just read the second page. Much shorter than either option.

lol it seems to be similar to the same thing they did in earlier versions of windows by having a dead spot in "high" memory or again when they decided that the operating system would only ever need 380k to run itself...
its good info to have though... i wonder how often most of us hit 10,000 NTs though....
