Half-Life ported to the Source Engine

According to Gamespy, The original game has been ported over to the Source engine as part of testing...
Whether or not they will release this as free or part of a Collectors edition is still to be decided...

I think this is a great idea, HL Deathmatch could make a huge comeback at the lan.
As for being free, I am sure they will re-package it and try to sell it too us for the 50th time. On the other hand it might actually be worth it, if it's not too expensive...I think I might be willing to pay $15 to get the original game in the new engine.

Counterstrike and perhaps the rest of the mods are getting ported. You can see the difference at the end of the double video released not too long ago.

I agree, I would also be willing to re-buy half life for undr $20, but not for the full price... Or even to buy a double pack with both HL2 and the first one for a bit more money...

I actually found that last year and it looked pretty good.
They dont seem to have made much progress though.
