Simpsons - Two more seasons + Movie in the works

Looks like The Simpsons will be on the air for atleast two more seasons and after that they are planning a movie which is being written right now. I hope they do a good job on it.

I read the same thing in the London Free Press today. 2 more seasons, then 3 years off to make the move because "animation takes forever".

Too bad the recent seasons have been utter CRAP!

The long-rumored Simpsons movie is officially on its way. The big-screen version of the classic TV show is due to hit theaters on July 27, 2007, according to producers. The script for Homer and his all-American family is still under tight wraps …

Well maybe it will be similar to the family guy movie, a bunch of episodes put together.
Or perhaps the will make a larger story out of it.
I must say I am interested. They have been going downhill with the latest seasons so this could redeem them.
