One of Jon's house-mates Craig showed me and Matt his "Hill's Absinthe" It's 70% alcohol and contains a hallucinogen called Wormwood. Traditionally prepared in the following manner:

Pour desired amount of absinthe over a sugar cube placed on a perforated spoon, and into a glass. Then light the sugar on fire and let it burn until it caramelizes, and pour an equal amout of water over the sugar and then stir to taste.

Craig was pretty happy to be getting high legally. The only problem is that a 26er of Absinth goes for about $90, so you can't screw up, and you better like it. I was going to try it but it was 70% alcohol forst off, and Graig also showed signs of a cold/flu. I didn't want him to have to make me my own glass, but this is definitely worth looking into.

Yeah, 70% gives ya a bit of kick. I've had shots of 65% and 70% rum. There's a reason they're called the fiery liquors. Though, few things are more satisfying than reading your booze bottle and seeing a warning telling you to be careful of invisible flames. ;)

EDIT:

The Absinthe tastes alot like Sambuca or Ouzo - which is like black Licorice if you've never experinced that before.

It's not really to my liking although the burning of the sugar is pretty cool. The first time we tried it we cracked the glass. :D

Yeah, we got some over here... by we i mean some girls i know, and by here i mean.. spain i think. anyway, yeah. we tried the sugar thing, but then got too lazy and just took straight shots. Could've been worse, i suppose...
I kinda doubt it was as expensive, but then i didn't buy it.
