So, is it actually possible to use HTML in posts or not. I know it says that it is on by default, but I can't seem to get it to work. If there is somthing I need to do first or somthing I am doing wrong let me know.

with html tags

<html>
<a href="www.google.com">google</a>
</html>

without
<a href="www.google.com">google</a>

Nothing seems to work. Sometimes there are things I want to do that BBCode just won't allow.

Code: Select all

<html>
<a href="www.google.com">google</a>
</html>

Does anyone have an answer for me? Bob, I am looking in your direction, or Pinto - you use the same code for your board right?

I will find the answer and post by tonight. note I am going to a movie so night might be late. Though I should post before nine.

So you want to know what HTML code works in the posts right?

right. Actually I was kind of hoping that all HTML would work, and there was some secret way to activate it, but if only certian tags have functionality I guess I'll live with that,

So what movie are you going to see?

<a href=http://google.ca>google</a>

Ok, it works. But I have to enable the tags one-by-one. So please post the ones you need and I will add them.

The ones curently in are:
b>
i>
u>
pre>
a>
span>
table>
tr>
td>
img>

Please note the absence of html>, body>, head>, and title>. These are left out since I was taught and do still believe that a web page has only one head, body and title, thus there is no need for more. Also note, anyone who wants to use this Must use proper coding! anything else will be edited/deleted. Sorry sloppy code bothers me :oops:

Anyway have fun. Please post new tags here, they will be added to the list above and your post deleted.

I don't know about the rest of you but I can't see the image. Basically I want anchors so I can make links like the one you did. I think that's about it for now.

<a href="http://www.google.com">google</a>
