WoW

Anybody else reading the previews of World of Warcraft at Gamespy? John Cash (formerly of id) has done a wonderful job on the engine and it seems to meet all the problems I've had with MMG (well, except the whole massive combat thing that Planetside covered). If the fees were under $5 a month, I'd actually might consider *gasp* joining up. Gonna be one I keep an eye on.

Though, what with it being Blizzard, the game should get here by the end of the decade. ;)

Good luck on that one. I'm sure Blizzard will charge more than anyone else just because they know that they can. I bet the fees will be atleast $15 american.

Thats a rather conservative guess dont you think? It's Blizzard. You'll just have to buy a new copy of the game every month, the full $60 to keep playing :P

If you have to pay to play then why the hell do thy charge you for the game?

Your thought that Microsoft was bad eh.

they are nothing you only have to pay once. (or not at all)

Well, when you buy the game you usually get a few months free so the idea is that the actual cost of the game is minimal, it's the service you are paying for.
