Christian Bale was excellent in Equilibrium, I am sure that he will make a great Batman, anything has to be better than George Clooney.

Michael Keaton. I agree, he was always the best batman, and the first two movies were the best as well.
Val Kilmer was alright but no one can compare to the origional.

Yes, Keaton trule was a fantastic Batman... The first two were the best, but the second paled in comparison to the first.... Good in its own right, but nowhere near the amazingness of the first.

I think that having Jack Nicholson as the Joker really made the first one.

Obviously. Jack Nicholson is not only an amazing actor, he was playing the best Batman villian of all of them. Thats what made the movie so good. It stayed true to the mythos and did it damn well.

Jack also made a boat-load of money of the first one. He got a percentage instead of a set salary. I also found it kinda weird/cool that Billy Dee Williams was Harvey in the first one. I think Tommy Lee Jones was the much better choice to portray him in the 3rd one, though.

You've got to love Billy Dee. Lando is da bomb. :D

It would have been pretty funny to see him playing two face along side Jim Carry.

They buggered up the Batmobile. They took the one from "The Dark Knight Returns" and put it in the early stages. Comic dweebs are gonna sh@t their pants over that................mainly me. ;)

It looks cool; it's just in the wrong time frame.

I liked it in the comic, but that's just me.

I dunno, I think it worked in the comic, but I didnt like it. It wasnt Batman Style...

Then again, alot of that comic wasnt Batman Style so I guess that makes it moot...

Lets just hope they dont fark up anything else in the movie.
