I have a gaming delema.
I can't play battlefield without updating to the newest video drivers, but when I do this I can't use my video out.

Use the catalyst destroyers..............you've got a conflict somewhere most likely. Complete removal of drivers often makes a big difference.

nope Catalyst didn't have the software for my video out, I've tried before. everything else worked but the option for vid out.

Well, then how did you remove and install your catalyst drivers? Simply using the add/remove option and then installing doesn't cut it anymore with XP.
What version of the Cat's do you use now to make your tv out work?

I use regular old off the cd drivers it works GREAT!
and yes I got rid of them just fine before. The new drivers just doesn't do the tv out for my card

Well, what version is on the CD? I'm interested for someone else.
Well, if you removed them in Safe Mode, also used the Cat destroyer, and don't have a Creative sound card I'm at a loss (for the moment).

well I know how to easily get around it, but I wanna use both at the same time, the new drivers and tv out.

Try using theater overlay?
