Looks like the Liberals are lowering car insurance anyway, I'm glad I voted for them.

No man. The Tories did exactly what they said they would do. The reason people didn't like them was because they did that and more.

Half of what the tories did was never released to the public, they attempted to keep everything as quiet as possible. While they may have done things they said they would, they didnt do everything. No political party ever does, thats part of politics.

Then why the hell didn't they do somthing about it during the 8 years they were in office, instead of just sitting on their hands and letting the price of insurance sky rocket.
In any case I'm just glad to see somthing happening to address this problem.

The tories didnt sit on their hands, the helped raise the rates. Before an insurance rate increase can be put into effect, the provincial government has to OK it. The tories were happy to oblige every time.

So, what makes you think they would have suddenly reversed their position?

Your great Librials have already fucked themselfs over for the next election.
1. You boy said about a month ago that as of that day, auto insurance was frozen. hmm well its still not forzen and rates are rizing.
2. your boy blamed the hydro problem on the torys but a week ago the USA took full blam for the matter.
3. your boy is raising the price of cigerets again saying and i quote " We will make Ontario a smoke free provence"
4. your boy took the frez off hydro so it will skyrocket.
5. Gas is going up, they said that thy were gona take .02 off the tax but thy put .05 on.
6. They said that thy are not gona close any schools and Norwich is still in jepordy of being closed.
7. They said that they came into office with a 5.6 billion doller defficit and thy are blaming it on the privious government. Does anyone realize what happen this year? Well Sars came out and hospitals across Ontario spent 3.4 billion extra to fight the deadly virous. The hydro going out cost the government 2 billion to repair and not to mention that with a new govenment thy need a new cabnit + they have to get rid of the old cabnit and pay them off. Im shure that cost a copple of million just to do that.
hmm seams like chang was not the right choice after all.
Infact has your great leader done anything he said he was gong to do. Oh ya he is, hes spending millions of our $ to investaget the shooting of the Native at the Ipperwash park. Ya that seems to be good $ well spent.
Fucking Liberials

John, I was agreeing with you on this one. I was just illustrating that the Tories had an active part in rising car insurance rates.

The liberals were pointing that out since the tories were ouright lying saying that the books were balanced and the deficit is under control.

Oh, I see. Sorry about that.
I thought you were replying to my post and not Jason's. If you read my posts to you as if your first post was relating to my main post then my comments might make a bit more sense. I guess this is a good lesson on the importance of quoting.

If you actually read the article you would see that the rate freeze will be retroactive to Oct.23, so in effect they have been frozen since about a month ago.

He blamed the Tories for how they handled the situation.

Less than 30% of people smoke
[PX]Thanatos wrote:6. They said that thy are not gona close any schools and Norwich is still in jepordy of being closed.
Dalton
never said he wouldn't close Norwich High School. On several occasions he was asked dirctly about closing it and he said the gov't would do what ever they had to do.

So what? Why should the government force these people to stop since they are a minority? Are you sugesting that we take away the voting rights of Immigrents who's total population is less then 30%. Or how about there right to a wage? make um work for free right? why not they are only 15% of the population right?
I know this is not what you ment but the damn 30% crap pisses me off. If I can't protest g@y's becasue they are a minority without getting sued, why can anti-smokers?

Matt's point was
Your great Librials have already fucked themselfs over for the next election.
I am just saying that a drop in voters by raising cigarette prices will not lose them the election.
