I wake up today to find none other than a fucking Xbox sitting on my coffee table, in my living room of all places. I was confused, maybe one of my roommates found it behind a dumpster, and planned to ritualistically burn it later, that would be fine with me. But no, Mike, stupid, thoughtless Mike, went out and spent his hard-earned money not on an upgrade to his POS PC, but a god-damned X-fucking-Box. at least he only has 1 controller so he'll never expect me to play with him.
All I can say is that he had beter have a really fucking good explaination for this act of mutiny.

So instead of upgrading his computer he paid for a new one in a shiny box that is probably barely better than his current machine? I don't understand the logic here.

The X-Box it self is not to bad. If I had to recomend a console, that would be it.
It is just the games that suck. Besides I think that Mike got one to mod it into the a Linux Box

I can see that Im going to have to stop by this weekend and have a serious talk with Mike about gaming, and why he shouldnt have bought that POS.

if the games for it suck why get it, and yeah for a PC gamer, the closest to best console is an XBox, which is pretty much a PC anyways.

that, I doubt. BTW off topic, but I got this months Wired with a Linus interview, I will post it later this week for those who don't buy Wired.

Hey if you got any ideas for some good games post em. No games that are on the PC please. So far im gonna grab Nightfire (its suppose to be good on the console) Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge, and Mech Assault.

Splinter Cell is also on the PC....
I wouldn't bother with nightfire, the only good thing about the console version is the first level.
Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge is supposed to be quite good, but only if you sign up for X-box live.
