Ok, i dont know why you closed that thread but it didnt need closed.
Why did yo listen to Ghost in the first place?
Did you ask Thumperup if you could close it?
i say open it back up. we were having a good conversation there, you just stoped it for no reasion.

Well, the idea is that we try to stay on topic in the posts we make. If the mod believes that a thread is too far off topic, and is serving no useful purpose then it is within his discretion to lock it.

if so, it was meant to be closed, if you wish to continue your conversation on the topic, go to the section you belong in, and start a new thread.

Our group never stays on topic. Are we supposed to start a "Useless Conversation For Today" thread? Discussion is happening so I don't see the problem. It's nowhere near the spam happening that was on the old, old forum. Heck, there wasn't any real "hate spam" going on either. As long as semi-complete sentences are happening, I don't find anything at fault.
But that's just me and how my sections of the forums are run

I assume that's why we have a general discussion thread, threads and posts in that forum can basically be about anything, and would not get locked unless the content was getting offensive or people were being directly insulted.
