Hacker Innocent

Taken from MBN
Hacker was released today after a year long trial. The 19 year old who was reponsible for hacking government computer core in 1999 was found not guilty on the grounds that he had no programing knowledge.

He had a hacking program on his computer and that was why he was charged and arrested. Herein lies the rub. He also had several trojans on his computer.

His defence was that he did not install the hacking software and because of the trojans this was a viable defence.

To me this is very dangerous presidence. But i suppose if you wanted to start your hacking careers now is the time

Apparently this defence has yet to be successful in the US though, so you might be jumping the gun on the hacking career.

I see. I heard about a similar case to this in another country, the UK I believe. At the time the article said this defense had never been tried in the US. Maybe they used that case as precident for this one.

Wait.........he was guilty because he DIDN'T know how to program? I'm confused.
